Mid Century Stained Glass Privacy Window Film
Bring colour and character to your windows with our mid century stained glass effect privacy window film. This geometric design combines a large circular feature with curved edges and rectangular panels, creating a striking arrangement of shapes inspired by retro interiors.
Aqua and mint green form the backdrop to blush pink, soft lilac, warm cream and amber accents. Deeper green and teal sections add contrast, while fine dark outlines define the individual shapes. The result is a decorative window covering that balances gentle colours with a bold, distinctive layout.
Window Privacy with Natural Light
This light filtering privacy window film helps soften the view through covered glass while allowing daylight into your room. It adds decorative coverage to overlooked windows and creates a more secluded feel around seating areas, kitchen windows and hallway glazing.
Applied to the lower section of a sash window, as pictured, the design screens the glass closest to the room while leaving an open view above. Choose the area you want to cover according to your window layout and privacy needs. Uncovered glass remains transparent, and privacy will vary with lighting conditions and proximity to the pane.

A Geometric Design with Warm and Cool Colours
The large circle towards the upper right is divided into warm amber, pink and lilac sections, giving the design a sun inspired focal point. Broad aqua panels surround it, while a curved cream section on the left balances the composition.
Along the bottom, coral, amber, cream and teal blocks introduce a stronger band of colour. This mixture of warm and cool shades makes the pattern easy to coordinate with natural wood, pale walls, soft furnishings and vintage furniture.
The design works particularly well in mid century and contemporary interiors, bringing interest to simple window frames without needing a busy repeating pattern.
Printed Stained Glass Effect
The coloured panels, dark outlines and textured glass appearance are printed details within the window film. They create the visual effect of stained glass, including tonal variation that gives the artwork depth.
Natural light brings out the colour and detail once the film is fitted to your window. Its appearance will change with the available daylight, the surroundings and the direction of the light.

Measure the glass area you intend to cover carefully before ordering, particularly when choosing partial coverage or fitting individual panes.
Fitting and Care
Allow the film to acclimatise flat for 24 hours before installation. Clean the glass with an ammonia free cleaner and follow the supplied fitting instructions. Avoid applying the film to very hot or cold glass.
The finished effect is best appreciated once applied to glass with natural light behind it. Colours may appear different on screen and under different lighting conditions.
